SMITH: On Wednesday, July 29, 2009, Dr. Frederick H. Smith, beloved husband for 60 years of Natalie Haase Smith; cherished father of Howard C. (Beth Singer) Smith and Karen Smith (the late Richard P.) Lebovitz; brother of Elvira Goldblum and the late Dorothy Levinson and Arnold Smith; grandfather of Andrew Joseph Lebovitz, Liza Renée Lebovitz and Lena Emelia Smith. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc., 5509 Centre Ave., Shadyside. Interment West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation. Contributions may be made to Kiwanis Club of Squirrel Hill Scholarship Fund, 4207 Murray Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15217.
