Dorothy Davis Schiff

SCHIFF: Dorothy Davis Schiff (1925-2016) on December 7, age 91, of Austin, Texas. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Samuel Z. Davis and Esther Klein Davis of Greensburg and Yukon, Pa. She was the beloved wife of the late Jerome N. Schiff; dear mother of Mark J. Schiff (Susan), Wendy J. Schiff (William Croker), and Robert D. Schiff; much loved sister of Sylvia D. Morgan, Gerald S. Davis (Dolores), and Howard Davis; cherished grandmother of Kevin Croker; Aaron, Michael, Sarah, and Geri Schiff; great-grandmother of Caden Schiff; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Dorothy had two degrees from the University of Pittsburgh, and from 1968 until her retirement, she was librarian of the Nursing School Library at St. Margaret’s Memorial Hospital in Pittsburgh.
