MARCUS: On Monday, September 29, 2008, Dorothy B. (Bennett) Marcus, beloved wife of the late Maurice Marcus; devoted mother of Alan (Donna Spark) Platt and Richard (Sherrie) Platt; step-mother of Harriett Samakow and Barbara (Shelly) Lopate; loving daughter of the late Saul and Anna (Shapiro) Bennett; dear sister of Bernice (Al) Offstein, Sandra (the late Arnold) Ruttenburg, June (the late Donald) Shapiro and the late Ruth (the late Nathan) Mandel; also survived by six cherished grandchildren, one great-grandchild, relatives and friends. Services were private. Arrangements by Lombardo Funeral Home.
