David Kindler

KINDLER: On Friday, October 5, 2012, David; Beloved husband of Barbara Hosack Kindler. Beloved father of Cheri Kindler, Mark (Ashby) Kindler, Dan Kindler and the late Richard  Kindler. Brother of Miriam (Paul) Zelman and the late Joseph Kindler. Grandpa Dave of Brooke, Rebecca and Snowden Kindler. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Mr. Kindler was a WWII veteran of the Navy. He graduated from Carnegie Tech (now Carnegie Mellon University) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering. In his early years, he was in construction with his father, Itic Kindler and worked on many projects in the Pittsburgh area including Poale Zedeck Synagogue in Squirrel Hill. He worked at Spang and Company for over 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman hiking the trails with his best friend Henry Posner. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel Inc.
