KATZ: On Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, Claire Katz; beloved wife of the late Eugene Katz; beloved mother of Albert (Colleen) Katz and David (Cheryl) Katz; sister of the late Thelma Siegel, Betty Krol and Tamara Glasser; sister-in-law of Harold Glasser; grandmother of Miranda, Andrew and Sarah Katz; also survived by nieces, nephews and her dear friend Esther Hinkes. Claire was a buyer for Frank and Seder department store and also owned the Claire Katz’s Plain and Fancy Coffee Shop at the Guys and Dolls bowling lanes in Penn Hills. She will always be remembered for her love of her family and food. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel; interment New Light Cemetery.
