Honoree Rabbi Leon Morris, University of Pittsburgh 1990 and president of Pardes Institute in Jerusalem, talked about the role of Chabad House in the lives of Jewish college students. Kathy Humphrey, Ph.D., senior vice chancellor of engagement and secretary of the board of trustees at the University of Pittsburgh, shared her reflections from her recent university executives’ trip to Israel.

A slide show of the trip and a video spanning 30 years of activities on campuses in Pittsburgh showed the growth and success of Chabad House on Campus. Donna Katz and Fraydi Silverman coordinated the event.

Chabad House on Campus is a Jewish student organization serving nine campuses in the Pittsburgh area and is directed by Rabbi Shmuel and Sara Weinstein.
