FISHER: On Friday, April 12, 2013, Carole (Levy) Fisher; Beloved wife of the late Dr. Edwin R. Fisher. Beloved mother of Marjorie (Alan) Baum and Abbe (Michael) Anolik. Sister of Richard (Martha) Levy. Grandmother of Ryan (Giovanna) Baum, Andrew (Emily) Baum and Joseph Anolik. Great-grandmother of Milo Baum. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Everyone who knew Carole Fisher knew her as someone who lived life to the fullest.   In 1972, she was a champion of the Women’s Western Pennsylvania golf tournament at the age of almost 50.  Competing with and defeating women almost three decades her junior, the newspapers dubbed her the “Cinderella Girl”. This Cinderella girl married her Prince Charming, the late Dr. Edwin R Fisher, raised two wonderful daughters, Marjorie and Abbe, three grandchildren, Ryan, Andrew, and Joseph, and one great grandchild, Milo. Very pragmatic and optimistic, Carole was able to battle both breast cancer and lung cancer for nearly fifteen years, exceeding even her doctor ‘s expectations. The loving qualities most remembered by her surviving children and grandchildren are her independence, warmth, impeccable taste, and loving, supportive generosity. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Entombment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Edwin R.
