Buy a piece of Concordia Club
The Concordia Club voted in July to close by the end of the year. Now, the furnishings are going up for sale at public auction.
Harry Davis and Company Auctioneers is selling “the banquet facilities, furnishings and décor items” of the Concordia Club at a public auction on Saturday, Nov. 21, at 4024 O’Hara St., Oakland. The auction begins at 10 a.m., but includes preview times on Friday, Nov. 20, from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 21, from 8 to 10 a.m.
The items on sale include chairs, tables and place settings for 300 including collectable “Homer Laughlin” china, hundreds of silver settings, glassware and bar setups, as well as fine furnishings and décor items, commercial kitchen equipment.
