Bette Jeanne Goldblum
GOLDBLUM: Bette Jeanne Goldblum, age 86, passed away on March 16, 2016. She was born July 9, 1929, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the only daughter of Rabbi Joseph Krickstein and Myrtle Krickstein. Bette was a graduate of the University of Michigan, taught elementary education and later earned a master’s degree in library science. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Raymond Goldblum, formally chairman of the Department of Dermatology, University of Pittsburgh Medical School, and her parents. She is survived by their three very accomplished children, Tracey Goldblum, Philip Goldblum and Dr, John Goldblum; and six loving grandchildren, Andrew, Ryan, Janavi, Raedan, Daniel and Sarah. She is also survived by her brother, Dr. Herbert Krickstein, devoted sister-in-law Evelyn Krickstein, daughter-in-laws Asmita Goldblum and Lauren Goldblum and numerous nephews and nieces. Bette was the best and wisest wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law aunt and friend one could ever hope for. Her family and friends join in celebrating a life that brought so much joy and happiness to everyone who had the good fortune to know her. Bette will be greatly missed, but will always retain a huge place in all our hearts. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery.
