LHORMER: Age 81, on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, Barry Lhormer; Beloved husband of Janet Markel and the late Arleen Lhormer. Loving father of Marc (Brenda) Lhormer, Jan (John) Moore, Matt Lhormer, Barbara Ann Markel and Diana Markel (Bryan Fishback). Wonderful grandpa to Arlin Moore, Anderson Lhormer and Max and Ana Fishback. Close brother to Nanette (late Ira) Gordon. Supportive uncle to many nieces and nephews. Barry was a real estate developer concerned for the future of Pittsburgh. He was proud of his many projects that enhanced the Strip District and the South and North Shores. He was honorable in business and a beloved mentor to many. Services were held at Rodef Shalom Congregation. Interment West View Cemetery of Rodef Shalom Congregation.
