SAMET: Barbara Lee Schiffman Samet, 76, of Oakland on Thursday, November 28, 2013. Beloved wife for 50 years of A. Judah Samet. Honored sister of Dr. Shirley Barasch. Loving mother of Elizabeth Samet and David Winitsky; adoring grammy of Ezekiel and Alexander. Treasured by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Barbara served as President of the Sisterhood at Tree of Life, the Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera Guild, and was very active with Na’amat USA Pittsburgh Council. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Burial followed at Beth Shalom Cemetery.
