Andrea Holber is the winner of this year’s Chronicle High Holy Days cover contest.

Andrea Holber, a 10-year-old student at Community Day School in Squirrel Hill, is the winner of this year’s Chronicle High Holy Day cover contest. Andrea drew a whimsical design of children gathered around the Rosh Hashana dinner table just waiting to dig in to the challa, apples and honey before them. A shofar is off to the side while a dove in flight holds up a banner wishing all a happy new year in Hebrew.

The Chronicle will be posting all submissions on our website in the week between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.

It’s not too early to submit entries for this year’s Chanuka cover contest. Send your drawings to Community Editor Angela Leibowicz at angelal@thejewishchronicle.net.
