HANDELSMAN: On Wednesday, January 30, 2013, Alvin Handelsman; Beloved husband of the late Ethel Handelsman. Father of Marcia (Mark) Greenwald and Mark (Elaine Bloom) Handelsman. Brother of Pearl Bastacky and the late Dr. Oliver Handelsman. Papa to Jed, Zeke, Shane and Julia. Mr. Handelsman was a combat veteran of WW II and a partner in Gateway Engineers for 45 years. Services were held at Ralph Schugar Chapel, Inc. Interment Homewood Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Jewish Association on Aging, 200 JHF Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15217. www.schugar.com
